Skylight Specialists, Inc. has vast experience with building or repairing sunrooms. We can provide "kit" rooms with curved eave glazing or build custom enclosures with MAGS Bar. We have designed many passive solar rooms which provide cool shade in the summer and warm sunrays in the winter.
Many sunrooms built by others have too much glazing which makes the interiors unbearably hot in the summer. We provide a product called sunscreen. which is a fabric stretched into frames that is installed on the exterior of the glazing. This stops the heat prior to reaching the glazing. This radiant heat created then dissipates into the atmosphere instead of into your home. There are many different colors and openness to choose from and the average sunscreen will block about 70% of the heat.
