Meet our Staff

Meet Our Staff!

Rob Packard (President/Owner): Starting in this business in 1975, Rob has acquired over 35 years of skilled expertise and invaluable know-how. He provides the daily support and training that our employees require to be successful in upholding the high standards of our company. Coming to Denver as a born and bred Iowan, Rob was determined to bring his principles and family values from the farm to the city. His efforts to do so are numerous; most notably Rob is currently on the Board of Trustees and is the Secretary for the DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation. Dawg Nation raises funds to help support hockey players and their families who have medical or financial needs. Rob also served as President for the DTC Rotary Club in 2009-2010 and President of the DTC Rotary Foundation in 2010-2011. Rotary is a service club of professionals like Rob, who work to practice ethics and moral responsibility in their businesses.

Mark Brusca (Lead Technician): Mark is our "Master of all skills", and is closely involved with our Residential and Commercial Divisions. Having been with our company since 1991, Mark has gained a vastly comprehensive knowledge base of all things skylights. It is a knowledge that makes him indispensable to our company and our customers’ satisfaction. ALL of our customers love Mark.

Jeremy Winters (Technician): Jeremy has been with our company since 2004 and has evolved to take on many different responsibilities. Jeremy primarily performs all of our Sun Tunnel installations and is our Velux skylight repair technician. He also handles all Velux warranty calls and work orders. Jeremy’s comprehensive knowledge has allowed him to be very versatile in our company as he has many other important duties that are too numerous to mention here. When our customers meet Jeremy they say he is a sweetheart.

Luke Stasney (Technician): Luke is our primary repair technician for residential skylight repair projects and has been with us since 2007. Luke also occasionally works with Rick in our Solar Division. Luke has become a very dependable, rock solid part of our residential division. His steadfast commitment to providing excellent customer service and skilled craftsmanship is second to none.

Tom Ring (Commercial Lead Technician): Another old-timer! Tom has worked in the skylight business for over 25 years. With such an extensive background Tom is in charge of leading and supervising on our Commercial projects in our fast developing Commercial Division. Tom has been with us since 2009.

Jordan Knaup (Estimator): Jordan is our newest employee and has been with us since 2011. Jordan is currently our residential field estimator and our Velux work order tech in training. He is an ambitious employee and is always looking for new training opportunities.

Newly Hired: We hire new field personnel every summer and hang on to the best of them through the winter months.


 

Office Personnel

Sarah Phillips (Office Manager): Sarah is our office manager and has nearly been with the company since its humble beginnings! She did take a leave of absence for college, a career, a marriage and to build a family of three children. Luckily she is back with us and we couldn't live without her. She currently works part-time so she can spend time with her young and busy family.

Danny Packard (Residential Division): After graduating from CSU Pueblo in 2009, Danny came to work for the family business and has since brought a fresh perspective to our PCN program. He has also assisted in revamping our Residential Department in an effort to gain higher competency and customer satisfaction. In December of 2009 Danny was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and underwent four operations in 2010. He is now back to work full time and doing well, with a positive prognosis.

Jessie Smith (Administrative Assistant): Jessie has been with us since 2010. Jessie’s organizational skills help to keep Stan and Rob successful and efficient, as well as many other critical office duties. She helps our professionalism tremendously and is a very welcomed addition to our team.

Doug Stuart (Commercial Division): Doug has taken over our commercial skylight division. Doug meets and consults with Architects and General Contractors for their daylighting design needs. He also provides presentations to Architects on advancements in daylighting technology.

Paul Whitfield (Commercial Division): Paul is our estimator for the Commercial Division. He has been with Skylight Specialists since 2003. Paul has a well rounded perspective of our company as he spent the first two years of his employment here working in the field gaining experience.

Stan Davies (Residential Division): Stan is in charge of our residential skylight repair and installation estimating department and has been with us since 2002. Stan frequently visits residential homes to meet the homeowners and make recommendations for new skylight installations. With some help from Danny, the residential team is constantly working to perfect their processes.

Amber Packard (Receptionist): Amber has worked for us on and off for a couple of years now. We love having her, because of her bubbly personality and friendly phone etiquette, and of course because she is married to Danny!

Rick Roybal (Inside Sales): Rick has taken over all of our Counter sales and Sun Tunnel sales and has been with us since 2009. He is also in the process of expanding and improving our PCN program.
